Required Documents for Application and Entry

It makes the process a lot easier if you get your required documents together before applying for your Nigerian Tourist e-Visa. At minimum, you will need to supply:

  • Passport Scan
  • Cover Letter
  • Invitation Letter
  • Airline Confirmation
  • Applicant’s Photo

Your return ticket will need to show you are leaving Nigeria before the expiration date on your e-Visa. Your passport will need to have at least 6 months of validity left from the day you plan to arrive in Nigeria.

When you arrive in Nigeria, you will have to present your Arrival Approval Letter and your passport as well as your departure ticket showing your plan to leave Nigeria. Present these documents at the “Visa on Arrival” area at your port of entry, and you will be issued your Visa on Arrival. It’s simple!

When to Apply

It is recommended to apply for your e-Visa at least 14 business days from your expected arrival date.

If you want to fill it out earlier, that is okay. We will queue your application and process it within the correct timeframe.

Total Prices for a Nigerian Tourist e-Visa

The total cost of your Nigerian Tourist e-Visa includes the cost of the visa itself and the processing speed cost you will acquire.

  • If you choose Standard, the total price of the visa is USD $222.99.
  • For Rush, the total amount is USD $274.99.
  • And if you choose Super Rush, the total cost is USD $332.99.

Expiration Date

When you purchase an e-Visa, it will have a “Date of Issuance.” The Date of Issuance is the last day you are legally allowed to use your visa to enter Nigeria.

For the Nigerian Tourist e-Visa, it will expire 14 days after issued.

Travel Reason: Only Tourism Allowed

This e-Visa is specifically designed for tourism and visiting Nigeria. You will not be allowed to work or live in Nigeria for an extended period with this visa. It is a temporary, one time use visa.

e-Visa Application Processing Times

You will need to choose a processing speed when completing your online application for your e-Visa.

This means that you will need a departure ticket showing you are leaving Nigeria on or before the last day of the maximum time you are allowed.

Each type of e-Visa has a limit on how many times you can enter the destination country.
